COLORS launches Vodafone Presents Bigg Boss 5, the fifth season of the flagship reality show where 14 celebrity contestants spend 100 days isolated from the world, with 55 cameras following their every move

Bigg Boss season 5, the much awaited and hyped reality show of India started yesterday with a sudden surprise to the audience after it disclosed all of its 14 contestants. Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt the hosts for this season unveiled all the characters who will be locked in the Bigg Boss’  house. The surprise came up as this time there is only 1 man Shakti kapoor who will tackle all the rest 13 women unlike previous seasons which included more men.

The Hosts

Salmaan Khan and Sanjay Dutt will be jointly hosting this seasons Bigg Boss.

The Contestants

The show started with a dual fascinating performance by Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt and then all participants were unveiled. There is only one male candidate Shakti Kapoor along with 13 women. This season includes actress cum- TV reality show star and a participant of Khatron Ke Khiladi Pooja bedi, wife of serial killer Charles shobraj, Nihika Biswas, singer Rajeshwari Loomba, the famous TV actress of daily soap kumkum, Juhi Parmar, wrestler Sonika Kaliraman, model and VJ Pooja Mishra, news anchor Mandeep Belvi, actress Shraddha Sharma, the world wide famous dancer Gulabo Sapera, Model and actress Shonali Nagrani, actress Mahek Chahal, Afgani beauty Vida Samdajai, and of course one trans- gender celebrity Laxmi Narayan Tripathi.

All the participants are being locked inside Bigg Boss’ house and one by one elimination of the participants will be there and the one who sustains till the last will be the winner. There was a buzz of other male candidates but none came up and there is still a rumor of getting in some males as a wild card entry or celebrity entry. The show will be aired at 10.30 pm from Mon- Fri and at 10pm Sat-Sun.

Let’s see what other surprises are there in this season of Bigg Boss and what controversies it will face. Bigg Boss has already been a much watched and famous show for India since last four years and we hope this time also it will entertain the viewers.
